This cute malay yuppie tried to pick me up on Tuesday morning while I was waiting for Leslie and Qinyi to arrive. I was walking past him to get to the provision shop to buy faggies and he smiled at me. I half-heartedly smiled back and continued walking. Suddenly he turned back and approached me.

"Hi, uhh... do you work at Hotel 81?"
"What?!"
"Err no, don't get me wrong. I don't think you're a prostitute..."
"WHAT?!!!!!"
"No, I meant, there's this receptionist there who looks like you"
"Oh and you would know this because you frequent Hotel 81?"
"..."

Damn, if he hadn't dug his grave deeper with every word he said, I'd have told him, "Hey, you screwed that up. Why don't you try approaching me again and remember to ask me for my number this time?"

Lol.





Okay, so work been a pain in the neck (literally). I mean, yeah, it's the usual temp job like photocopying and filing. However, since I am working for an event management company, I have to make at least 3 copies of EVERY form that a company submits. Did I also mention that each company submits at least 30 forms and that there are over 600 companies? -_-'

I have aches all over and sometimes after standing for so long, the blood stops circulating to my legs and I fall down when I move too quickly.

However, I'm not complaining because I have earned a grand total of $300 in 4 days. YAY! RETAIL THERAPY, HERE I COME!


Oh yes, there are 4 year 2 mass commers interning there and they've been real friendly to me so far. While waiting for the photocopying machine, we just gossip about other mass commers. Hoho.

I have to admit, having Leslie and Qinyi work there with me are the only things that keep me sane. We have lots of fun (and sometimes we make too much noise) but it's comforting to know that even though I haven't really seen them for over a year, we can still pick up where we left off.

P.S. Leslie Ng Shun Li (SHUN SHUN LI LI!) made my whole day better because he pronounced Luxembourg as Lek Sing Bong. I almost died laughing. WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!
